Where to Go: Bay Ridge, Brooklyn Edition!

Up for an adventure? Take a ride on the Brooklyn-bound R train and head all the way south to a town that few native New Yorkers are familiar with.

Bay Ridge is a small community known best for it's view of the Verrazano Bridge.

WHERE to go: On 3rd avenue, you will find the endless family owned boutiques and restaurants that give Bay Ridge it's charm. Our featured favorite is ZEN.

ZEN (7609 3rd ave) has been a neighborhood's favorite for nearly 3 decades. They are famous for their beautiful jewelry, silk flowers, and YANKEE candle assortment.

Click here to view their website.

What to do: On 86th street you will find a bunch of shops, including Century 21 for designer discount shopping, and the GAP.

What to eat: Grab a seat outside and try the house salad (with their homemade vinaigrette) and cannoli at Paneantico Bakery.
