Phrasal verbs and idioms for winter - Get cozy! 💜

As cold months approach, we would like to share a couple of phrases and idioms you can use during the wintertime.
'Tis the season... to put them into practice and impress your friends!

1) To bundle up:

Image result for to bundle upTo put warm clothes (i.e. coat, scarf, hat, gloves) on yourself or someone else, or to wrap someone in something warm.


Example:

"We have to bundle up before we go out. It's freezing outside".

2) To be snowed in: unable to leave a place because a lot of snow is falling or has fallen. When the roads are blocked with snow. 

Example: We were snowed in last winter and couldn't leave the house for three days. 

3)  Walking on thin ice: This one is a winter-related idioms that you can use anytime. Walking on thin ice
