Where to Go: Chinatown, Manhattan Edition!

Where to Go: At Columbus Park, you can often catch the elderly Chinese locals playing a game of chess, practicing Tai-Chi,  or occasionally catch them singing a traditional Chinese opera.

What to Do: Looking beyond the endless row of imitation designer handbags that lines Canal street, you can also find great gifts and souvenirs, (and may even be able to bargain for a better price!)
Where to Eat: Try the soup dumplings at Joes' Shanghai (9 Pell Street, New York, New York 10013).
