NYLC Group Activites: Celebrate Brooklyn, Dance Party!

We will meet at 6:30 at NYLC Midtown (226 West 37th Street), then travel together to the Brooklyn Bridge. We will walk across the bridge at sunset, and then join in a FREE DANCE PARTY at the Brooklyn Bridge Park featuring funk and old-school hip-hop music from Zapp and D-Nice (for more information, visit bricartsmedia.org).


 

There will be a beer garden, food trucks, and the best view in New York!

Deer Tick at Pier 54- FREE Admission!

This Thursday, August 11th, catch a FREE concert at Pier 54!

From NYC Go: The River Rocks concert series ends with a punk-folk favorite—Providence, Rhode Island's Deer Tick (who endeared themselves to us here at nycgo.com with both their original material and as Deervana—playing remarkably faithful covers of Nirvana songs). NBC Summer Concert Series- Bruno Mars!

This Friday, June 24th come watch Bruno Mars in a FREE concert, as he performs songs from his hit album "Doo-Wops & Hooligans."

As always, concerts are scheduled to begin at 7am (!), (30 Rockefeller Plaza) but make sure you come earlier so that you can beat the crowds!

FREE CONCERTS, TONIGHT at The Delancey!

Nothing to do? Enjoy a FREE concert, TONIGHT, at The Delancey (168 Delancey st.)!



Rock on with various bands including Swoon, with NYLC teacher, and lead guitarist Ryan Lee! 

Other performances  include The Small Beast, Mollie King, & Dying in Motion.

The show begins at 8:30 pm. There will also be 2 for 1 drink specials. Must be 21 years+ to enter.

FREE Natasha Beddingfield Concert at Rockefella Center!

Next Tuesday, on December 7th NBC is hosting another free concert at the plaza of Rockefeller Center. This time Natasha Beddingfield will take the stage to perform on the Today Show. As always, the crowds will start building early (as early as 6:00am)- so make sure you arrive early to get a good spot.  Performances (although vary) usually begin anywhere from 8-10am.

FREE Kings of Leon Concert, THIS WEDNESDAY 11/24!

NBC is hosting another free concert at the Plaza in Rockefeller Center!

This time, the rock band Kings of Leon will perform some of their hit songs on Wednesday morning. Try to show up EXTRA early because crowds usually gather by 7am!

FREE Bon Jovi Concert, at Rockefeller Center!

On November 12th, NBC is hosting another FREE concert at Rockefeller Center with the popular American rock band, Bon Jovi. As always, these concerts are first come, first serve. 
 Make sure you arrive early to save yourself a spot!

They are also giving fans an opportunity to vote for the song they want the band to play!

Catching a Flight, and a Show, Taylor Swift at JFK

Are you a Taylor Swift fan? Well for those in New York City, we have some exciting news!
Next week, Taylor Swift will be in New York City to promote her brand new album, "Speak Now". She will make several appearances in various venues throughout the city, including a free(!) public concert on the "Today" show, a performance on "Live with Regis and Kelly," and again on the" Late Show with David Letterman".

Also, if you were planning to catch a flight, Taylor Swift will do an unusual performance in the Jet Blue terminal of JFK, Gate 14!
