Holiday party 2014

Luis set the bar for ugly sweater creativity and won the contest. Congrats, Luis!

NYLC faculty & staff were back in the Soho room of the Hostel in the Upper West Side for this year's holiday party. It was as much fun as last year with good food; fun games, contests and raffles; as well as music and dancing.

 

Unlike last year, however, there were ugly sweaters everywhere--on the dance floor, playing musical chairs, chatting over hors d'oeurves and over dinner. Some sweaters were so ugly and over-the-top, they were actually somewhat, uh, pretty. Kudos to Lena, who brought up the idea and eventually got some eager supporters, even from those who were against it in the beginning. Some got all excited about it and went all out to make their sweaters as ugly as possible. Congrats to Luis for wearing the ugliest sweater this year and winning the contest.
