Come celebrate the beginning of the Chinese New Year! We will see the first day of a 15-day celebration to bring in the year of the Snake. We will see the Firecracker Ceremony, which will have fireworks (see the picture below), lion dances, drumming, and dancing. There will also be a parade that goes through Sarah D. Roosevelt Park!
Meet Adam at 10:30 am on the street in front of Midtown NYLC (226 West 37th St, between 7th and 8th Aves) and then we’ll take the D train to Grand Street. We will walk around the festivities, and then enjoy a delicious Chinese lunch together.
You must sign up with Cassandra for this activity!
