Brooklyn Bridge Sunset

Wednesday, October 3^rd 

Meet Audrey at NYLC Midtown (226 West 37^th Street, between 7^th and 8^th Aves, Manhattan) at 5:45pm. From NYLC, we’ll take the downtown A/C train to High St in Brooklyn and walk across the bridge into Manhattan. We will have a great view of Manhattan during the walk, seeing both the sunset and the night view.

9/11 Memorial

 The terrorist attacks on the World Trade Center on September 11^th changed New York, the USA, and the world. It is an important and tragic event that is essential to New York’s identity.

At the new memorial, you can see where the Twin Towers used to be, see a list of names of people who were lost, and see the new World Trade Center being built around it.

Meet Stephen at NYLC Midtown (226 West 37^th Street, between 7^th and 8^th Aves, Manhattan) at 2:30pm. From NYLC, we’ll take the train to the World Trade Center and see the memorial together.

  

Museum of the Moving Image 

Friday, October 5th

Museum of the Moving Image celebrates the magic, history, technology, and art of of movies and all moving pictures (including television, cartoons, video, digital media, etc).

Meet at 3:00pm at Midtown NYLC (226 W. 37^th St, Floor 10). We’ll take train to Astoria, Queens. Or, you can meet us at the Starbucks on the corner of 35^th Ave and 37^th St in Astoria at 4pm. The Museum of the Moving Image is at 36-01 35^th Avenue at 37^th Street in Queens.
