Holiday Train Show
At the New York Botanical Garden
RESCHEDULED:
Thursday, December 15th
The Holiday Train Show is a self-guided exhibition of garden-scale trains that travel around replicas of New York landmarks constructed entirely of natural materials. You’ll find everything from buildings to bridges made with twigs, bark, and berries—even the “glass” panes are made from tree sap!
Meet Andrew at NYLC Midtown (226 West 37th Street, between 7th and 8th Aves, Manhattan) at 2:00pm. From there, we’ll take the uptown 2 train to the Bronx (40-minute trip) and walk to the New York Botanical Garden (15-minute walk). We’ll arrive around 3:00pm. The garden closes at 6:00pm.
Tickets are still available for $20. Admission includes the train show, all exhibits in the garden, garden tours, and tram tours.
Email activities@nylanguagecenter.com or speak with Cassandra at Midtown NYLC (1-212-268-6500) for more information and to sign up for this activity.
Everyone is welcome to come!
