The Empire State Building is a 102-story landmark skyscraper and American cultural icon in New York City. It has a roof height of 381 meters, and with its antenna spire included, it stands a total of 443.2 meters high. Its name is derived from the nickname for New York, the Empire State.

Meet at 2:00 pm at Midtown NYLC (10th floor, 226 West 37th Street, between 7th and 8th Avenues) and then we’ll walk to the Empire State Building, located 350 5^th Avenue between at 5^th Avenue. After going through the security checkpoint, we’ll bypass the ticket line and wait in line for the elevators that go straight to the 86^th floor observatory. Once there, you can stay however little or long you would like. The observatory closes at 1am.
