Brooklyn Bridge and Ghostbusters
Thursday, July 14th
The Brooklyn Bridge ranks as one of the greatest
engineering feats of the 19th century and remains one of New York's most
popular and well-known landmarks.
Meet Adriane at NYLC Midtown (226 West 37th
Street, between 7th and 8th Aves, Manhattan) at 5:30pm (or meet at the
beginning of the bridge on the Manhattan side at 6pm). From there, we’ll take
the N/R train to Chambers in Manhattan and walk across the bridge into Brooklyn.
We will also visit the Brooklyn Ice Cream Factory and walk around Brooklyn
Bridge Park. At sunset (around 9pm), there will be a free movie
(Ghostbusters) in the park. There is a lot of walking (across the bridge and through
the park) so wear comfortable shoes and clothing.
Email activities@nylanguagecenter.com
or speak with Adriane at Midtown NYLC (1-212-268-6500) for more
information and to sign up for this activity. This event is free.
Everyone is welcome to come!
