NYLC Group Activity: Coney Island!

NY Aquarium,

and Mermaid Parade

 

 Saturday, June 18th

Coney Island is a New York City ocean-side neighborhood that features an amusement area that includes 50 or more separate rides and attractions.

Meet Adriane at NYLC Midtown (226 West 37^th Street, between 7^th and 8^th Aves, Manhattan) at 1:45pm (or meet at Coney Island in front of Nathan’s Famous, at Surf Ave and Stillwell Ave, at 2:45pm). From there, we’ll take the N/Q downtown/Brooklyn train to Coney Island/Stillwell Ave in Brooklyn. We’ll watch the second half of the Mermaid Parade at 3pm, visit the aquarium from about 4-7pm, and then walk around Coney Island and the boardwalk from 7pm and on.

The aquarium costs $7 if you pay and reserve your ticket from NYLC before or on Friday, June 3rd, and $10 if you pay after Friday, June 3^rd. You can also purchase tickets at the aquarium for $15. There is no admission fee to Coney Island, but rides, games, food, and some shows have separate costs.
