Elena's English Expressions - "shake a leg"

Elena, one of NYLC's teachers, asks in this week's note, "Elena's English Expressions":

Who can guess what "shake a leg" means in this conversation?

A: Come on, Jason, shake a leg! The taxi has been waiting for us for five minutes.

B: All right already!  I'm coming....

What do YOU think "hit the sack" means?
