NYLC Group Activities: September 10th- September 15th

Tuesday, September 11th:

Brooklyn Bridge

Meet Stephen at NYLC Midtown (226 West 37^th Street, between 7^th and 8^th Aves, Manhattan) at 2:00pm. From NYLC, we’ll take the downtown A/C train to Chambers in Manhattan and walk across the bridge into Brooklyn. We can also get ice cream ($3-5) at the Brooklyn Ice Cream Factory and visit the Brooklyn Bridge Park.

 
Wednesday, September 12th:
Picnic in 
Central Park

Meet at 2:00pm at Midtown NYLC (11^th floor, 226 West 37^th Street).

Come enjoy the last of the beautiful summer weather in New York’s most famous park! We will bring sandwiches for you to eat. Please bring your own drinks, and any food that you want to share with your friends! You can also bring any games, a Frisbee, or a soccer ball if you want.

 
Thursday, September 13th:

Bohemian Hall

Beer Garden 

Come enjoy the food and beer at Bohemian Hall in Astoria. You DO NOT NEED to be over 21 to come to this event- you can come and eat the food and enjoy being with friends. Bring money for food + drinks. There will also be karaoke there!

Meet Adam at 5 pm at the Midtown location (226 W. 37^th street) and we’ll take the N/Q train to Astoria Boulevard. Or, you can meet us there at 29-19 24th Ave in Astoria, Queens at 5:45.

Saturday, September 15th:

Statue of Liberty and Ellis Island

Meet Cassandra and Kelsey at the Starbucks near Battery Park (24 State Street, on the corner of Pearl and State Streets.

See the symbol of America- the Statue of Liberty! Take a tour of the Ellis Island Museum and learn about immigrant history in America.
